  • Alasdair Hutton has been associated with blind welfare since the 1970s when he edited and narrated the Playback audio magazine in Glasgow and contributed to the now closed Soundaround audio magazine. He joined Borders Talking Newspapers in 1997 as a volunteer reader and is presently the charity’s Convener.
