World Braille Day


Launched by the UN in 2019, World Braille Day is now held in January each year. It is centred around the birthday of Louis Braille who created the system of raised dots used by many visually impaired people around the globe.

  • Heather trained as a journalist on newspapers and worked as a reporter, sub editor and editor for more than a decade.
