Chris Crowther is the author of a popular series of crime novels set in the Norfolk Broads. Here, he has written a bespoke short story for TNF Soundings and the listeners of local Talking Newspapers.     Amanda Benzecry graduated from Cambridge University with a degree in Classics and, after abandoning plans to become a professional actress, her first career was in advertising. She worked for a number of leading international agencies. After an employment hiatus in order to bring up her two sons, Amanda returned to the workplace – as an Estate Agent. She has continued to act on an amateur basis with local drama groups and has performed across a variety of different theatrical genres, as well as in film and on radio. Amanda lives in southwest London and owns two Romanian rescue dogs, four cats and a variety of fish. She very much enjoys writing and reading - out loud!
