Paris Olympic medals celebrate Braille


The medals awarded at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris will be embossed with Paris 2024 in Braille to honour the French inventor of the reading and writing system for visually impaired people, Louis Braille. So who was he and how did he come to invent the system?
