A baker’s dozen of Guide Dog puppies

Bakery themed names have been chosen for a litter of 13 Guide Dog puppies. One of the largest litters recorded by the charity Guide Dogs, all the puppies are now in training, with the aim of becoming fully fledged Guide Dogs next year. This article is written by Heather and read by Alasdair.

  • Alasdair Hutton has been associated with blind welfare since the 1970s when he edited and narrated the Playback audio magazine in Glasgow and contributed to the now closed Soundaround audio magazine.

    He joined Borders Talking Newspapers in 1997 as a volunteer reader and is presently the charity’s Convener.
