Soundings contributor Lindsay tells us about the history of World Chocolate Day, marked on the 7th of July. While the story starts with the discovery of chocolate many, many years ago, it is only recently that social media pressure has led to the creation of World Chocolate Day. We also hear about some of the classic chocolate companies and their products – from everyday favourites to luxury products and the role that chocolate claims in everyday lives.
