Simon

After retiring from his post as an NHS GP, Simon rekindled his lifelong interest in the spoken word. He attended storytelling and voice coaching workshops and embarked on a very part-time second career as a freelance traditional oral storyteller. Following the Covid pandemic, Simon saw an advertisement for volunteers with his local East Shropshire Talking Newspaper and now acts as one of the team of producer / presenters at ESTN as well as a content creator. He is really enjoying getting to grips with audio recording and editing. He continues to perform at occasional live storytelling gigs, with campfire gatherings a particular favourite.
