Recently it has come to our attention that some organisations have been editing TNF Soundings articles prior to broadcast or inclusion in a publication, but this is not permitted under our terms and conditions.
Our dedicated team of volunteer contributors, editors and audio engineers work tirelessly to create content which is carefully constructed to present a balanced and fair view, and we would ask that your do not edit their articles in any way, remove or alter attributions or take out the TNF Soundings ident jingles.
We would like to draw your attention to the ‘Broadcasting Our Content’ section of our Terms & Conditions which outlines what you can and can’t do with TNF Soundings content.
We do appreciate that where several TNF Soundings pieces are used in succession, listeners may find repeated opening and closing ident jingles undesirable. We are hoping to bring about an automated solution to that very soon, but in the meantime we do allow the removal of intermediate jingles subject to the following conditions:
- The first TNF Soundings piece in a sequence starts with a TNF Soundings opening jingle
- The last piece ends with a TNF Soundings closing jingle
- There is only TNF Soundings content between those two jingles, and
- The content of the pieces is not edited in any way.
If you have any queries around the use of TNF Soundings pieces, please contact us using the form on the website, by emailing enquiries@tnfsoundings.org.uk or by leaving a message on our answerphone at 03000 400 290.
Thank you,
TNF Soundings Team.
